The Boko Haram terrorists have stricken again. This time, they have gone and blown up a power pole in Maiduguri, sending the whole capital into complete darkness once again just barely three days after they had just restored their electricity.
The Boko Haram have now struck power installations three times, ensuring Maiduguri has been kept in the darkness since January. Channels Television reported that it took power authorities almost two months to repair the damage inflicted in January as the insurgents laid land mines as traps that injured officials of the Transmission Company of Nigeria during the repair project.
Unfortunately, after the repair was completed and the electricity was restored on Wednesday, 24th of March, the insurgents made yet another attack on a power tower in the city throwing the city into yet another state of darkness.
